Additional Panamax M4300-PM 9-Outlet Home Theater Power Conditioner Information

The Panamax M4300-PM is designed to provide noise isolation between two isolated outlet banks, including 4 high-current outlets so that any noise created by an A/V component cannot contaminate the power going to equipment plugged into another outlet bank. Panamax's patent-pending AVM circuitry continuously monitors the incoming power as displayed on the digital voltmeter. In the event of an undervoltage or an overvoltage, a flashing lightning bolt will be displayed in red in the voltmeter. Power to the connected equipment is automatically turned off if either of these conditions is detected. When voltage returns to a safe level, power to the equipment is automatically reconnected.

What Customers Say About Panamax M4300-PM 9-Outlet Home Theater Power Conditioner:

Plus, the protection is superior. The unit has a convenient outlet and USB charging station on the front, and is also very nice looking--much nicer looking than the one I originally purchased in my opinion.Highly recommended. Even installing a signal amplifier didn't solve the issue. Also, I can really see an marked improvement in the quality of the picture and hear a difference in the sound, particularly with cable channels.Originally, I purchased the Monster HDP 1800 PowerCenter, but lost about one-third of my cable channels due to interference from the unit with the cable signal. According to Panamax, they have the lowest loss of cable signal in the industry (< 0.5 dB). I got this to solve a very prominent low-level feedback hum coming through my TV and sound system speakers, and by running my cable line through this system, it fixed it. No more *very annoying* hum. But taking those back and getting the Panamax in its place solved everything.

Great product, all you will need for a power cleaner and fairly priced, Panamax's lowest priced and entry level power cleaner.

The M4300 is a breeze to set up and comes with enough plug-ins for a moderately sized home theater. The idea is to isolate each of the banks so that interference is not possible. Functionally, the M4300 is completely quiet. Each has 4 plug-ins.

All in all I've been very pleased with the M4300 and look forward to continuous years of peace of mind even during those spring and summer storms. The main purpose is to illuminate A/V stacks in dark rooms without having to turn on a separate overhead light. The knobs on the front are actually static, downward facing amber LEDs. Call me a sucker or call me an A/V enthusiast but I firmly believe that the strength of one's home theater is only as good as the weakest link. At the very least this unit gives me piece of mind. and a separate bank for audio components. The unit also features the requisite adapters for RG6, telephone and ethernet cables to completely protect the home theater.

To Panamax's credit the front display of the unit is very clean and the refresh rate of the wattage display isn't as distracting as similar Monster Cable Power Conditioners which in my experience are constantly adjusting the wattage display. I bought my Panamax M4300-PM during a particularly bad spring and summer lightning storm season here in Virgina. There are 2 power banks, one for high-current electronics such as HDTV, DVD, DVR, etc. The front of the unit features an easy to read blue light display with the current wattage feeding into the unit.

It's just there working all the time. That's my only small complaint and I'm used to it now so: I highly recommend this product. A little too well-lit.My only reason to refrain from a 5-star rating is that the blue LED display is somewhat distracting. In north TX, where massive lightning and thunderstorms are a regular part of our climate, anything electronic is vulnerable. Even though the Panamax has 3 dimmer settings for the LED, at lowest it is still by far the brightest and is always on.

To me, it's a no-brainer. Protection from spikes and sags that you don't have to think about. Plenty of connectivity, great info feedback. A rack mounted setup in a closet or cabinet wouldn't notice. When you have $8-10k tied up in a home theater system - and that's very easy to do - why would you not spend another couple hundred to properly protect it.

But even if you don't live in tornado alley you can never fully count on your power provider to deliver a steady, conditioned current. The Panamax M4300 simply does its job - 24/7 reliability. My small setup is all up front in an open glass stand so I see all my component displays (which I like).

great protection for all audio & video toys a must have for home theater investments (total protection).
